Izveštaj će se fokusirati na efekte ovog modela finansiranja na primeru ovih opština i gradova, vrednosti opredeljenih suma i podržane medije, rad konkursnih komisija.
Svrha istraživanja bila je ne samo da se utvrdi koje su to oblasti od strane lokalnih organa uprave bile prepoznate kao javni interes u informisanju koji treba finansirati, već će se analizirati i oblici meke cenzure/prikrivene kontrole i mehanizmi državnog uticaja na medije kroz ciljanu i pristrasnu upotrebu budžetskog novca kroz modele raspodele budžetskog novca i njihove posledice na slobodu medija na lokalnom nivou.
Neformalna mreža udruženja, medija i građana čiji rad koordiniraju CDD Europolis i KANAL 9 nakon praćenja finansiranja medija na lokalnom nivou organizovaće i konsultovanje građana i prikupljanje tema o kojima građani žele da se informišu u budućnosti.
CDD Europolis and KANAL 9 conduct research on media financing in AP Vojvodina
Center for the Development of Democratic Society Europolis from Novi Sad and KANAL 9 within the project Media Content and Media Financing as a Reflection of Public Interest in Local Communities are conducting research and analysis of the content of programs and projects that were carried out in 2017 in 5 local self-governments in the South Bačka District financed by citizens’ money through project allocation.
The report will focus on the effects of this model of financing on the example of these municipalities and cities, the values of defined amounts and supported media, the work of the competition commissions.
The purpose of the research was not only to determine which local authorities were recognized by the local authorities as a public interest in the information to be financed, but also the forms of soft censorship / covert control and the mechanisms of state influence on the media through targeted and biased the use of budget money through budget allocation models and their impact on media freedom at the local level.
Informal network of associations, media and citizens whose work is coordinated by CDD Europolis and KANAL 9 will monitor the financing of local media at the local level, and will organize citizens’ consultation and gathering topics on which citizens want to be informed in the future.
